 Founded in 1978 when founder Brian Smith landed in Southern California with a bag of sheepskin boots introducing them to surfers on the beaches. They became an immediate sensation from small towns to big cities and coast to coast. The year 2000 was when UGG Australia started booming in the fashion industry with celebrities wearing them as well as being featured on Oprah's Favourite Things. UGG first being a brand for an active, outdoor lifestyle quickly evolved into a symbol of stylish, casual and luxurious lifestyle.
